Client Agreement & Liability Waiver

Please review this agreement carefully. Completion of our intake form constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of the terms below.

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand and acknowledge that participation in dog daycare, boarding, grooming, retail purchases, and related services involves inherent risks, including but not limited to illness, injury, stress, escape, property damage, or death.

Dogs are animals and may act unpredictably, including biting, scratching, or aggressive behavior. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my dog’s participation in services provided by The Fur Seasons, whether on or off premises.

2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless The Fur Seasons, its owners, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my dog’s participation in services, including illness, injury, loss, or death, even if caused by the ordinary negligence of The Fur Seasons.

3. INDEMNIFICATION

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Fur Seasons from any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from my dog’s behavior, actions, or participation in services, including injury or damage caused to other animals, people, or property.

4. HEALTH & VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

I certify that my dog is in good health, free from contagious disease, and current on required vaccinations including Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. I understand that illness can still occur despite precautions and agree that The Fur Seasons may refuse or discontinue service if my dog shows signs of illness.

5. BEHAVIOR & TEMPERAMENT

I certify that my dog has no undisclosed history of aggression or biting. I understand that The Fur Seasons may remove, isolate, or dismiss my dog from services at any time if behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or stressful, and that no refunds will be issued due to behavioral dismissal.

6. EMERGENCY VETERINARY AUTHORIZATION

In the event of illness or injury, I authorize The Fur Seasons to obtain veterinary care for my dog at their discretion. I understand that all veterinary costs, transportation, and related expenses are my responsibility and that every reasonable effort will be made to contact me or my emergency contact.

7. PERSONAL PROPERTY

I understand that collars, leashes, toys, bedding, or other personal items are left at my own risk and that The Fur Seasons is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property.

8. PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE

I grant The Fur Seasons permission to photograph or record my dog while participating in services. These images or videos may be used for marketing, social media, or promotional purposes without compensation.

9. POLICIES & FEES

I agree to comply with all posted policies including, but not limited to, vaccination requirements, spay/neuter policies, late pickup fees, cancellation and no-show policies, holiday pricing, boarding check-in/check-out times, and retail sales policies.

10. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

The Fur Seasons reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client or dog for any reason including safety, health, behavior, or policy non-compliance.

11. AGREEMENT & ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to all terms of this Client Agreement, Liability Waiver, and Policies. I certify that I am the legal owner or authorized agent of the dog listed below and that this agreement is binding.

By completing The Fur Seasons client intake form, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms outlined in this client agreement and liability waiver.
