Client Policies
DAYCARE PARTICIPATION & TEMPERAMENT EVALUATION
All new daycare clients are evaluated during their first day of daycare, which serves as a Trial Day. Temperament evaluation includes observation of handling tolerance, comfort level, energy, adaptability, and behavior within our environment. Temperament assessment may continue over subsequent visits, particularly as group sizes, play dynamics, and stimulation levels change. Admission to group daycare is not guaranteed and is subject to ongoing temperament assessment. Dogs displaying unsafe, aggressive, or highly stressed behavior may be removed from group play or dismissed from daycare.
DOG SIZE CLASSIFICATION
Small Dog: Up to 25 lbs. Medium Dog: 26–50 lbs. Large Dog: 51 lbs and over. Breed, temperament, coat type, energy level, and overall care requirements may also be considered when determining size category. Final size classification is determined by The Fur Seasons and may be adjusted after assessment.
DAYCARE HOURS & PRICING STRUCTURE
Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM. Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. Daycare is offered in pricing blocks: Half-Day (up to 4 hours) and Full-Day (over 4 hours, up to closing time). Daycare services are not offered after closing hours.
LATE PICK-UP POLICY
A 15-minute grace period is provided after closing. Pickups occurring after the grace period will incur a late fee of $20 per 30 minutes, rounded up. Pickups more than 60 minutes after closing may be subject to overnight boarding charges or additional fees at management discretion. Repeated late pickups may result in suspension or termination of services.
BOARDING CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Boarding check-in and check-out should occur during regular business hours whenever possible. Standard boarding check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM. Dogs remaining after 11:00 AM may incur daycare charges.
AFTER-HOURS BOARDING DROP-OFF
After-hours boarding drop-off may be accommodated by request only and is not guaranteed. Approved after-hours boarding drop-offs will incur a flat $40 after-hours fee. Drop-offs may occur after closing time and up to 10:00 PM. No boarding drop-offs will be accepted after 10:00 PM. All after-hours boarding drop-offs must be arranged and approved in advance.
EARLY-MORNING BOARDING PICK-UP
Early-morning boarding pick-up may be accommodated by request only and is not guaranteed. Approved early pick-ups will incur a flat $40 early pick-up fee. Early pick-ups may occur as early as 6:00 AM on weekdays and 8:00 AM on weekends. No boarding pick-ups will be accepted before these times. All early pick-ups must be arranged and approved in advance.
HEALTH & VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
Proof of current Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccinations is required prior to participation. Dogs must be on flea and tick prevention. Dogs showing signs of illness may be refused entry. Owners are responsible for all veterinary costs incurred during their dog’s stay.
BEHAVIOR & SAFETY
Owners must disclose any history of aggression, biting, or behavioral concerns. The Fur Seasons reserves the right to isolate, modify care, or dismiss any dog whose behavior poses a safety risk. No refunds will be issued for dogs removed due to behavioral concerns.
CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS
Cancellations must be made within the posted cancellation window. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full. Holiday reservations may have stricter cancellation requirements.
HOLIDAY & PEAK PRICING
Holiday and peak dates may be subject to higher rates. Holiday pricing applies regardless of length of stay. Deposits may be required for holiday bookings.
RETAIL SALES
All retail sales are final unless otherwise stated. Exchanges may be offered at management discretion.
PHOTO & VIDEO POLICY
The Fur Seasons may photograph or record dogs for social media and marketing purposes. Clients may opt out of media use upon request.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
The Fur Seasons reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client or dog for any reason, including safety, health, behavior, or policy non-compliance.

By booking services with The Fur Seasons, clients acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to all policies listed above.
